Capitol Creative Alliance is 100% volunteer-run, organized, and led. With our dedicated team, we are able to offer programming throughout the year and provide the creative community with resources and support.
We have a variety of roles that are open to all, whether you recently graduated, or you are in a leadership position. If you’d like to offer your time, talent, and support, please read our roles and fill out the application below.

Join our Board of Directors
We are actively looking for community leaders that can bring their lived experiences, background, and expertise to our Board of Directors. We are currently recruiting for our Board Vice-President and Secretary positions. Our application will be open through Feb. 8th. Our new Officers will be elected at our Board Meeting on Feb. 15th.

Join a Committee
We are actively looking for community leaders to chair our Fundraising and Marketing Committees. All Committee Chairs have a seat on our Board and have voting powers. Our application will be open through Feb. 8th. Our new Chairs will be elected at our Board Meeting on Feb. 15th.
Finance: Responsible for developing and reviewing fiscal procedures, fundraising plans, and the annual budget with staff and other board members.
Current Chair: Our Board Treasurer, Marcy Wacker
DEIA: Ensures that we are adhering to our DEIA Policy and implements diversity initiatives and activities that interact readily and effectively with students and members from our community, including people from various and marginalized backgrounds.
Current Chair: Faith McKinnie
Programs: Evaluates existing programs, oversees program expansion or development, and facilitates Board conversations about its programs.
Current Chair: Amanda Sebastiani
Fundraising: Manages and coordinates all fundraising efforts, including grants, sponsorships, fundraising drives and memberships.
We currently do not have a Fundraising Chair
Marketing / Design: Promotes our work by creating marketing campaigns, promoting events, creating advertisements and posting on social media platforms. Manages the website team and all printed publications, including brochures, flyers, posters and leaflets.

Join our Event Team:
We host monthly events, along with our fundraising events and special events for our programs, and we couldn’t do it without our Event Team!
Our Event Team is responsible for event coordination, setup, takedown, photography/videography and social media.
It is an amazing opportunity to meet people in our community and expand your network!
